This link is actually of a Christian who was a Philosophy student and had his beef with the film.

I am really glad that you posted about this movie. After reading a lot about the movie (include the LONG philosophy "prof" rant) I borrowed the movie from the library (Thank God I didn't have to buy it). I wrote my thoughts about it on my blog.

Interesting. So you enjoyed it but found in shallow and unconvincing? This movie represents for me most of the things that make me cringe about religion. Thanks for sharing.

I found this type of movie to be like candy or comfort food. It is definitely not healthy and is a killer in the long run but is something of a tasty morsel every now and then. This kind of crap is a guilty pleasure that I don't want to make a long-term habit. It is a fast food version of spirituality/religion/whatever.
